Adventure in the grim city of Wolfenburg, home to all manner of guilds, races and would be heroes. Wolfenburg is situated near the middle mountains in the north east part of the empire. A strange city that finds it's self accosted on all sides by green skins and chaos spawn.

Within the dark forest of shadows that cloaks the eastern and northern areas can be found ancient sites of adventure, bandit lairs and terrible armies of green skins.

To the south west of the city lie the ruins of Blackwall, a once proud place now overgrown with vines and weeds, hunting grounds for the harpies, it is claimed a creature with the power to turn people to stone walks those ruined streets.

The southern area out of the city is covered by Darkdawn forest, a twisted mesh of brambles and thickets that snag the unwary or foolish. The tree lines gives way to the west as the land is infected by dark waters, the swampland here is home to hordes of lizard-like creatures with Skinks and even Slann rumored to live within the choking swamp mists.

West of the city, beyond the few roads leads onwards to Darkthorn forest, sister to the southern collection of trees and home, or so it's claimed, to chaos creatures with dark purposes on their minds.

Northwest of the city is dominated by the huge Middle Mountains range, once the ancient home of the dwarves, now a hunting ground for evil creatures and a roosting place for at least one great dragon.

All of the main adventuring races have found time to set up outposts and guilds within the relative safety of the city walls. You can find guild lodgings belonging to the traditional Bretonnian Knights to the more secretive Waywatchers.

With the lure of gold and greenskins the Troll Slayers quickly set up a large guild lodge attracting far too many hard headed dwarves searching for the right beasts to test their might against.

Even halflings have found themselves drawn to the city, taking up a life of dodgy thievery or almost heroic fighting as a way to build up there own legend within the stunty world.

You enter as one of five different races (Human, Dwarf, High Elf, Wood Elf or Halfling) and choose from over 25 different classes. Each of the core classes from the Warhammer world is available be it a noble knight to a dangerous witch hunter. Certain races have unique classes available to them, be it the Dwarf Engineers, Musketeers or Troll Slayers to the Elven Wardancers, Waywatchers and Shaman.

Within the safety of the city you can learn your adventuring trade, test out your combat skills in the training grounds, map out the main city and perhaps complete a few quests along the way.

Once you grow in power and stature you can venture forth into the wilds and start your real quest to fame and fortune.

Warhammer adventures is an online game set in a real time world. The game is based around the old world as detailed in the Warhammer FRP and battle system games, this is the longest running UK based professional game world for the Warhammer game system. Players get to explore the huge city of Wolfenburg along with the vast surrounding area from the tall mountain peaks to dark Dwarvern deeps.

The land is one built for exploration and advancement of your character.

From a Troll-slayer to a Wardancer all the main races and classes are here with a full range of skills, spells and items for every type of would be hero. Musical scores play over the action as you uncover lost tombs and descend into massive dungeons. Knights must learn the correct skills and tactics that can allow them to hack through a troll or take on a mighty red dragon. Wizards must learn spells that can cast fireballs, arc lightning, change their appearance or alter the surroundings.

In the shadows lurk the thieves who find the weakest part of a monster before silently attacking them from the rear.

The game engine is more faithful to the concept of Warhammer than any other game that has gone before it. The elements of the rules that define the game are present to all players, while the magic and mystery that has made Warhammer the popular fantasy based RPG/Battle system runs right through all elements of game play.

There is a comprehensive and above all wide range of monsters available to test all adventures, from weakling snotlings to cunning mages, demons that actually use all of their powers and dragons that use every available attack, spell and tactic open to them.

The game play is based on several main corner stones; advancement, expansion, adventure and story line. The game world incorporates a living breathing city where new stories and plots develop each hour. The dungeons are sprawling and jam packed with monsters, tricks, traps and puzzles. The land is rich with quests that can take weeks to solve and that link together to form epic stories. In the distant areas of the land new dungeons open and old dungeons are sealed off, all the while, the land expanding as time goes on opening up more and more opportunities to the willing adventurer.

Taverns, guilds, ruins, mountain ranges, lairs, dungeons, tombs, catacombs, caverns and more are available to be explored. You will not be adventuring alone, join any time day or night and meet up with other people in the realm, chat to them, share stories with them or adventure with them.
